Our short film had its world premiere this April at the Aspen Shortsfest, and it was a moment worth celebrating.
The entire team was there, including writer-director Shaina Feinberg and writer Mathilde Dratwa, who joined a talkback after the screening. It was one of those rare moments where the work, the audience, and the conversation all came together in a meaningful way.
Hearing real-time reactions and engaging directly with the audience added a whole new dimension to the film. The questions were thoughtful, the energy was strong, and it reinforced exactly why we do this work.
