Took The Train To The Lower East Side Film Festival

Our New York premiere of Cleo from 8:20 to 2:35 took place this May at the Lower East Side Film Festival, and there’s nothing quite like watching your film with a hometown crowd.

The cast and crew showed up in full force, taking over the balcony of a legendary East Village theater. The energy in the room was immediate. You could feel every moment landing, every reaction shared, every beat connecting.

It was especially meaningful to have lead actor Sophie Amieva in attendance. Seeing the work come to life alongside the people who helped shape it made the night feel complete.

Screening in New York brought the project full circle. It’s one thing to finish a film. It’s another to share it in a room like that, with people who understand exactly what went into it.
